# Getting to and from Cairo airport

Plan your destination, terminal and luggage space before choosing transport.

## Arrange a clear pickup

Give your driver the flight number and terminal, and agree on the meeting point. If the driver cannot enter the arrivals hall, agree on a clearly identified public pickup location after you collect your bags.

## Allow for Cairo traffic

Travel time varies with traffic and destination. Downtown, Giza and New Cairo are different journeys. Ask your hotel or transport provider for a current estimate and leave a buffer before the airline’s check-in deadline.
